TRENTON, N.J.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey has received notice that Andrew Harris Sr., has passed away on Jan 22, 2024.

Harris made a significant impact on the insurance industry over the course of his 48-year career. He served as president of PIANJ from 1998-99, and then as president of PIA National from 2012-13. He received numerous industry awards from insurance agency associations and insurance companies, including: PIANJ’s Professional Insurance Agent of the Year award in 1996; and PIA National’s Presidential Citation in 2023.
