GLENMONT, N.Y.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State will present Meryl G. Golden, president and chief executive officer of Kingstone Insurance Co., with its Executive of the Year award at its annual MetroRAP, held today at Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.

This award recognizes an individual from an insurance company, a general agency or a managing general agency who has demonstrated a strong working relationship with agents and brokers, and who has exemplified a commitment to professionalism and service.

Active in the industry for more than 25 years, Golden joined Kingstone in September 2019. Before joining the company, Golden held several product and general management roles for both Progressive and Liberty Mutual and she also worked at Bridgewater, a hedge fund—Earnix, a technology and analytics company—and Arity, a subsidiary of Allstate.

“Throughout her career, Meryl has demonstrated a deep level of dedication to our industry. She has earned the respect and trust of her colleagues and customers,” said Jason Bartow, AAI, CPIA, TRA, president of PIANY. “PIANY is honored to recognize her with this award.”
