TRENTON, N.J.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey’s Young Insurance Professionals presented Josh McManigal with the NJYIP Young Insurance Professional of the Year award on Dec. 4, at the PIANJ holiday dinner held at the Westin in Princeton, N.J.
The New Jersey YIP of the Year award acknowledges the efforts of a director serving on the Young Insurance Professionals board. McManigal earned this distinction through his active engagement in board activities, his attendance at meetings and events, and his outstanding involvement and excellence in committee work. Roger Butler, PIANJ president and Tim Latimer, president of NJYIP, presented him with the award.
“Josh continuously strives to provide outstanding service and enthusiasm to association initiatives,” said Latimer. “His tireless commitment to NJYIP, and the industry make him more than deserving of this recognition.” “Josh personifies professionalism,” said Butler. “By that measure, and by many others, he is deserving of this award.”
Active on the NJYIP board since 2019, McManigal has served as its secretary from 2022-23 and again in 2025-26. He also served as treasurer in 2023-24. Currently, McManigal is a member of PIANJ’s Legislative/Regulatory Committee.
