ALBANY, N.Y.—Stephen J. Turnbull received the Community Service award at the Professional Insurance Agents of New York board of directors meeting on Feb. 9, 2022. He works in sales for the Turnbull Insurance Service in New Hartford, N.Y.

The PIANY Community Service award recognizes individuals who demonstrate a significant commitment to the improvement of his or her community.

An active member of his community, Turnbull is involved in several community programs and projects. He is president of the Rotary Club of Utica, N.Y., and co-founder of the Utica BNI Group. Turnbull also is on the Utica Chamber of Commerce board of directors and served as the young professional group chairman prior.
