ALBANY, N.Y.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc. named Leslie Rogoff Committee Chair of the Year for the second time at this year’s annual business meeting. The first time she was honored with the award was in 2012. Rogoff is the marketing manager for Madison Avenue Brokerage Corp., in New York City.

This award recognizes the time and effort agent volunteers give to help guide the association and implement programs to benefit its members. Rogoff was honored for her work as education chair of PIANY’s Education and Conference Committee.

Over her more than 35-year career in the insurance industry, Rogoff has been an active PIANY board member for more than 25 years. Currently, she is chairperson of the New York City Advisory Council, and she is a member of the Membership, Benefits, Services Committee.

“Leslie has a history of making PIA events exceed expectations, bringing great enthusiasm and experience as the education chair of the Education and Conference Committee,” said Richard Andrews, LUTCF, PIANY’s newly elected president.  

Rogoff received the Distinguished Insurance Service award from PIANY at the association’s Metropolitan Regional Awareness Program, Jan. 25, 2018. This award is presented to an individual with a history of service to the American independent agency system and to PIANY.

In 2014, Rogoff received a presidential citation from PIANY. This citation was given in appreciation of her ongoing efforts to help guide the association and implement programs to benefit its members and for her ongoing and unwavering support of New York’s professional insurance agents.
