PIANJ held its 40th Annual Golf Classic Oct. 2, 2023, to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey, at TPC Jasna Polana, in Princeton, N.J.
The PIANJ Golf Classic—in partnership with the PIANJ Women’s Leadership Alliance—was proud to present Special Olympics New Jersey with a donation check of over $93,000, which will support thousands of Special Olympic athletes in New Jersey. To date, the PIANJ Golf Classic, in conjunction with the NJYIP Fun Run, has raised more than $5 million for SONJ.
More than 120 golfers participated in this year’s event, which in addition to a round of golf included contests and a meet-and-greet with Special Olympics USA Games Champion, Ben Miller.
At the event, the PIANJ Women’s Leadership Alliance also supported Special Olympics New Jersey by raising over $4,000, which contributed to the total funds donated. Attendees took a tour of the neo-classical villa and grounds, and they had a chance to network with fellow industry colleagues at the awards dinner.
A special thank you to all the golfers and volunteers who help make this event a success! Plans are underway for next year’s event. Watch your PIANJ publications for details.
